WHAT IS PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY

Neuropathy is “the condition that results when nerves that carry messages to and from the brain and spinal cord from and to the rest of the body are damaged or diseased.”

The cause varies by each patient and our doctors will perform a comprehensive exam on your initial visit to determine if you are a candidate for our program.

CAUSES OF PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY

Neuropathy can have many causes, such as diabetes, hereditary disorders, inflammatory infections, poor nutrition, chemotherapy, heavy metal exposure, pinched nerve, agent orange exposure, environmental toxins, auto-immune disorders, and more.

We focus on Diabetic Neuropathy Reversal and have more specific information here.

DO YOU GUARANTEE RESULTS?

Many of our patients seeking relief from their neuropathy symptoms ask if we can guarantee that our services will work. While we would love to guarantee results, neuropathy is a complex issue and such a guarantee can not be made as our program requires our patients to strictly adhere to our protocols.

With our diabetic neuropathy patients, we can guarantee an improvement in the quality of life of those patients following our systems. We use objective measures to quantify our outcomes and determine if our patients are on the right track. This may include monitoring glucose levels, ketone levels, weight, body composition, blood pressure, and thermography. Using these measurable outcomes, we are able to course-correct where necessary so we can continue improving our patients’ quality of life.

Given the right environment, the body is able to thrive and repair itself. Our program is just about doing this. There are no magic potions or lotions to fix neuropathy. Medically the only solution to help those suffering from neuropathy is by masking symptoms using prescription medications. The issue with this approach is that these drugs do not fix the cause. In many patients, the severity of neuropathy continues to get worse. This means the patient will need to increase their dosage to continue masking the pain, while the underlying issue may manifest into a bigger problem.

I have been going here for almost a year for Neuropathy. When I first went I was skeptical. But after a short time I was convinced this was the right place to be to take care of my neuropathy. I got back once a month as a recharge. All the staff is very friendly and will do whatever they can to help you. You can talk to them all just like they are family.

It is important to understand that when your body is in pain, it’s usually trying to tell you something. Think of it as a check engine light going off. You could choose to cover that light up and continue driving your car, or you could find out what the issue is to fix it before it becomes a bigger issue.

Applying this logic to neuropathy,
Finding the cause of neuropathy is the first step.

In diabetics, there is inflammation which affects blood flow and chronically stresses the body. Due to this state, the nerves can demyelinate, which is when the outer sheathing of the nerve breaks down.

In these instances, patients will start to experience different symptoms. For some it’s tingling and numbness, for others it feels like there is a rolled-up sock in their shoe, or they are walking on pebbles. Regardless of what the symptoms are, the reality is that the damaged nerves are disrupting the signals back to the brain.

Due to these affected signals, to the brain, other symptoms may present which may include disrupted balance, the sensation of walking on marshmallows, or increased sensitivity to things like bedsheets. Many patients with neuropathy may sit in their house with shoes on all day because it helps give them some relief, while others are only comfortable in open-toe shoes.

In diabetics, neuropathy is an end-stage pathology. This means the nerves are dying as a result of being diabetic.

Our approach is to heal the body from the inside out. The result of lowering blood sugar levels allows the body to express itself at a higher capacity. Our method of increasing vitality in our patients is the solution to reversing neuropathy.

Working with our team of chiropractors is a wellness journey, and in doing so we are able to help our patients reverse their neuropathy.

Type II diabetes is also known as adult-onset diabetes. In these case types, the common denominator is high sugar levels. The sugar level is high because the body is unable to regulate normal blood glucose. The only way to address this is to fix the underlying metabolic component, through nutrition.  This is a measurable issue that we are able to manage with great success in our diabetic neuropathy reversal program.

Treatment

Neuropathy is most commonly ‘treated’ using prescription medications. These pharmaceuticals just MASK symptoms and don’t keep the problem from getting worse. We have a more permanent approach at BMW.

At Blue Mountain Wellness, we take a holistic approach to reverse neuropathy by healing the body from the inside out. Our approach is to use nutritions, therapies, and technologies to turn the nerves back on and increase blood circulation. This includes Red Light Therapy, nutrition, nerve stimulation, Brain O2, Decompression, Class IV laser, Nerve Slim Plate, and more.

Our Neuropathy Reversal Program is built to optimize your health. Damaged Peripheral Nerves can be healed when given the right conditions. Our program is backed by science and supported by physiology. The at-home protocols are simple to follow and ensure our program is able to fully optimize your recovery.
